About
About me… I draw inspiration from the natural world and accent it with abstract geometric forms. I am fascinated by the technique of Pointillism where dots are applied next to each other to form an image. I primarily use dual-tip watercolor pens to achieve these results.
I felt drawn to artistic endeavors since I was young, but truly leaned into learning and practicing during college. I received my BFA in Metal-Smithing and Jewelry in 2015 from Missouri State University. Drawing became my go-to art activity after graduation because it was easy to pick up and play. This has become my most favored hobby and I am excited to share more of my ideas with you!
As my Drawing III professor Joey Borovicka said, “Draw what you see.”
My mind is full of fantastical and eccentric ideas, waiting to come to life on paper.

Art is a huge passion of mine. I believe it can change lives and help us work through pain to find healing. The point of art is to feel something. It isn’t up to the artist to tell you what to feel or how to interpret the art. The images I create satisfy my love of color and texture, and bring some order to chaos.

Mom is the only one brave enough to pick me up, and I get cranky when I don’t get kibs. However, I am a master cuddler and always down to hang while mom does art.

I probably the nicest cat you’ll ever meet. I’m there for belly massages when your tummy hurts, purrs, and pets. I’ll even nibble your nose if I’m really happy. I’m a great friend to have at the home office.
